Example 2: Find the volume of the triangular prism shown in the figure. ![]() Solution: V B × h Volume of a prism formula l × b × h Area of rectangle formula 6 × 8 × 15 Substitute values of l and b 720 Simplify The volume of the prism is 720 cubic yards. These are the two most fundamental equations: volume 0. Explanation: The volume of a rectangular prism is found using the following formula: If we substitute our known values, then we can solve for the missing side. Example 1: Find the volume of the prism shown in the figure. where B is the area of a triangular base and h is the height (the distance between the two parallel bases) of the triangular prism. In the formulas above, you can see the area of the base is part of the volume formulas: V l w h where A l w is the area of a rectangle. Formula explanation: The formula to calculate the volume for prisms is always the. You can also use the online calculator to calculate the volume of a triangular prism automatically. So, to calculate the surface area of a sphere given the diameter of the sphere, you can first calculate the radius, then the volume. In this case the base of the triangular prism is a triangle, therefore you need to calculate the area of the triangle. The radius of a sphere is half its diameter. The volume, V, of a triangular prism is the area of one of its bases times its height: V B·h. The formula for the volume of a sphere is V 4/3 r³, where V volume and r radius. ![]() ![]() ![]() We know that, The volume of a prism (Base area × Height) cubic. In addition to the modulation, use more complex chords and larger range of dynamics.Īnyway, it requires experiences and lots of practices. In Tong Hua, it is very easy as there's modulation. Try to seperate your piece in sections, and try to make difference between the sections if they are repeating themselves. ![]() One more extra experience on playing chinese pop songs, I usually will try to build up the affection of the piece. ![]() At every chord, you have to change pedals.Īlso, you might consider adding some extra notes on your right hands, like playing in thirds apart or sixth aparts or even octave apart! This is very important as most Chinses pop music change chords fairly frequent.įor Tong Hua as example, they start out with 1 chord per bar and in the chorus it's 2 chords per bar. Anyway, I can play in G major as well.Īnyway, I find your use of pedals at some time is not really suitable. Mine is in F major because I get to play it very much as the score I got is in F major. They have one key signature only and shouldn't be very hard to practise on.Īs far as I know, the CD version is of G major, but the story in the MV, he actually practise on F major. I have recordings on some other songs like Tong Hua and will upload it when I get a decent connection.Īnyway, why don't you try F major or G major instead of the C major. (although not it can't be applied to all songs)Īnyway, thanks for taking the time to finish the whole video that's about 9 minutes long! And, this makes me really like Chinese Pop song as you can make a song lively or sad by manipulating the chords. You got the melody line, you got the right chords, there you go. In fact, there is not something like ACTUAL score for Chinese pop song. Those are songs that I play for years and slowly add in one by one by grouping them to similar keys and linking all groups up by their key relationship (either to their dominant or one step up/down). Why don't you try with E instead of higher C, and also after the G, and you fall back to the lower C or E at your own choice. You might play C G (higher C) the back to G and then the higher C and then back and forth until the next chord. Anyway, broken chords can be nice too and also many variations in it.įor example, for C major chord I, or just C maj chord, CEG, ![]() They usually come in broken chord which is somehow boring. ![]() The scores that I obtain (may not be the actual piano transcription) do not involve that much variations on the left hand. ![]() ![]() “Time is not on our side, and this type of solution can be installed quickly, cost-effectively and without a major disruption.” “We think the problem is reducing emissions as quickly as possible,” said Brian Asparro, chief operating officer of CarbonQuest, which built the system. In this case, the carbon dioxide is sold to a concrete manufacturer in Brooklyn, where it’s turned into a mineral and permanently embedded in concrete. ![]() They see it as a way to meet emissions goals without having to relocate residents for extensive renovations. Some are installing carbon capture systems, which strip out carbon dioxide, direct it into tanks and prepare it for sale to other companies to make carbonated beverages, soap or concrete. Other cities such as Boston and Denver followed suit with similar rules.Īs a result, property managers are scrambling to change how their buildings operate. About 50,000 structures - more than half the buildings in the city, are subject to Local Law 97. So building owners must make dramatic cuts starting next year or face escalating fines under a new city law. New York state’s buildings also emit more air pollution than any other state’s. Buildings are by far the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions here, roughly two-thirds, according to the city buildings department. And there’s a dire need for reducing emissions from skyscrapers like these in such a vertical city. The goal is to stop that climate-warming gas from entering the atmosphere. In an effort to drastically reduce the 30-story building’s emissions, the owners have installed a maze of twisting pipes and tanks that collect carbon dioxide from the massive, gas-fired boilers in the basement before it goes to the chimney and is released into the air. Yet just below in the basement is an unusual set of equipment that no other building in New York City - indeed few in the world - can claim. From the outside, the residential high-rise on Manhattan’s Upper West Side looks pretty much like any other luxury building: A doorman greets visitors in a spacious lobby adorned with tapestry and marble. If you're certain it's exactly 4:3, of course, just use 104:135. Shutter Encoder est un logiciel de conversion vidéo et audio gratuit et open-source pour Windows et macOS, développé par Paul Esnouf. It could be 4:5, I suppose (very close to 104:135), but I don't know of anything that produces that pixel aspect ratio maybe try that first, and then try 3:4 if it still looks a little too stretched horizontally. Shutter Encoder has a panel containing a large number of settings, in order to define your own choices based on your files and perfect your video or audio output. If the source represents true SD NTSC pixels (in which case only the central 704×480 pixels are supposed to map to a 4×3 screen, with 8 pixels overscan on either side), the correct command would be: mp4box source.mp4 -out target.mp4 -par 1=10:11īecause (4/3) / (704/480) = 10/11 – exactly the reference pixel aspect ratio for standard definition NTSC video.įor the case given in the question, if it's really 4:3, that gives a very odd pixel aspect ratio: (4/3)/(720/416) = 104/135. For this case, you need: mp4box source.mp4 -out target.mp4 -par 1=8:9 (Equivalently, you're describing the aspect ratio of a source pixel.) For example, suppose you have a DVD source that's 720×480, and the correct display aspect ratio is 4:3. When you use -par stream-number=width:height, you define the pixel aspect ratio – that is, the result of dividing the device aspect ratio by the storage aspect ratio. ![]() L’interface a été particulièrement travaillée et, si elle. In 1991, Taylor became the voice of the seventh, and to-date longest serving, Minnie Mouse. The first actress to voice Strawberry Shortcake was Russi Taylor, who starred in all six ‘80s specials. She has connections to Disney and the ‘70s porn industry. That loophole closed in 1990 with the Children’s Television Act, which required even independents to follow the rules. But Kenner found a loophole in the law by syndicating all the specials on independent stations. “I suppose that the show is a commercial, in the largest sense of the word,” Muller told The New York Times. ![]() While toy company Kenner, which bankrolled the specials, did not openly admit to doing that, writer and voiceover actor Romeo Muller said as much in 1981. These standards were the result of a longtime campaign by parent groups worried that toy companies made shows that were just long commercials for their products. The first Strawberry Shortcake special, 1980’s The World of Strawberry Shortcake, was rejected by the networks for not meeting educational content standards for children’s programming. Her ‘80s specials never aired on network television. Realizing this meant the end of Strawberry Shortcake, Sargent returned the rights to her former employer, saying it had never been about the money, but about getting the credit. Surprisingly, the courts disagreed with American Greetings, and Sargent won. The company countered that Sargent was not the creator, but a subcontractor, and part of a bigger team. Her claim: Girl with a Daisy, the card that started it all, was her creation, and when executives decided to market their strawberry character, they turned to her and asked her to draw a pinker and berrier version nearly identical to the final product. A bestselling Valentine’s Day card, Girl with a Daisy, featured a little girl wearing a big bonnet with strawberries. A few years earlier, executive Jack Chojnacki had noticed how well merchandise with strawberries was selling, and asked his Cleveland team to come up with a strawberry-themed character that would also resonate with fans of the company’s popular “Blue Girl,” Holly Hobbie.
